Hey guys! :)
I have been at camp for a few more days, and i'm starting to enjoy it more ^^
It's still been tough, but i'm a fighter.
On the bright side, I have started to eat and gain appetite again, which has made me quite excited.
I've been eating pretty healthy, and i thought i'd share a deliciously sweet and simple breakfast recipe while I have some time.
It's not quite a recipe, but more a delicious idea.
INGREDIENTS:
• fresh strawberries (SWEEEET)
• low-fat yogurt
• brown sugar (no particular brand.)
• granolas (with or without raisin is your choice.)
(pictured are ingredients.)
Simple. Not many ingredients, and i'll bet you you'll enjoy it.
INSTRUCTIONS:
• This "recipe" is made to your own tastes. You can change anything you like as long as you keep my general guidelines.
• Pour a serving size amount of the yogurt into a bowl, while also adding the same amount of granola. The amount of both depends completely on you. (personally I add just a bit less granola than yogurt, because the yogurt is used for something else as well.)
• Wash and cut leaves from strawberries. The amount depends on you, but I myself will get 5-6 strawberries per. time I eat this.
• get half a cup of brown sugar and pour it into a smaller bowl, and add a bit to the yogurt as well.
• get a strawberry and dip it in the yogurt, coating it as if it were dipped in chocolate.
• Then, proceed to dip the yogurt-covered strawberry gently into the brown sugar, rolling it to make a light coat of the sugar.
• Repeat as many times as you like.
• Also eat yogurt with the granola as the main part of the meal.
• Enjoy! :)
I love doing this in the morning because it is healthy and delicious, but also cures my sweet tooth.
These are normal and easy-to-retrieve ingredients, all of which are simple and pretty good for the body.
It's very delicious, and I highly recommend this as a substitute for a chocolate dipped strawberry.
I hope you guys enjoy this new breakfast/snack idea! ^^
I'll be back very soon, so wait up!
My days are getting a bit brighter, and I really hope they become enjoyable.
Love you guys!
-Krispy
