Mini Puppy Photoshoot! ❤

Hey guys! Popping in again.

So you all know Kimchi, my toy poodle, but have you met my pom, Miu Miu? :)

She's an adorable white ball of fluff, and she enjoys laying around and licking people's calves.

She's always hyper and follows me around the house.
She and Kimchi give me little moments of happiness everyday!

I hope you enjoy, I just wanted to share a few little pictures I took.

❤

Day in Boston with Mum ❤

Hello everybody!
So over the summer, I attended a summer program in Rhode Island.
(-as most of you guys know.)
After it ended, my mom came to pick me up and we spent  a few days in Boston.
The scenery was stunning and the food... breathtaking. :)

We walked near our hotel are and found a little harbor with quaint little restaurants lining the side.
We took a few pictures, and then sat down for some lunch before our flight back to L.A.
The wait for a table wasn't UNBEARABLE, but it took a good 15 minutes of standing there.
(There were no chairs or waiting area.)

We were at a little restaurant called 75 on Liberty Wharf.

RANDOM QUIRCK: sometimes I get a cup of hot water at starbucks and brew my own cup of tea. I think it's because I'm picky when it comes to my hot drinks.
So don't be fooled if I have a cup with the starbucks logo on it- its probably just my tea.

It was a beautiful day, so we requested a table out on the patio.
I took a few pictures out there, just to capture how peaceful and lovely it was.

Our food came slowly but surely.

Not too large of a menu, which was a relief to me.
It's such a pet peeve of mine when restaurants have HUGE menus, because i'm such an indecisive person.

The decoration and theme of the restaurant was modern yet cute, and everything was very well put together, and I found it charming, especially since it was by a little harbor. (which surprisingly didn't reek of fish.)

Here are some more photos I took of the decor, settings, and drinks, which I just found too adorable NOT to photograph.

Then our food finally arrived! :)
-and matching the theme of the restaurant, the food was adorable as well.

They gave us these little pastries for free as starters... sweet yet not overbearing.

I ordered lamb-chops as my main entree. (I was told it was a small dish, because I really wasn't that hungry. It was still pretty early on in the day.)

Two of the lamb chops were horrendously undercooked, but they were very courteous about cooking them back up for me. The flavor of the meat was quite delicious, and the light salad that came with it was a nice touch.
It came with a lovely barbaque-type sauce, but it had more a wine-ish taste to it. I preferred pairing it with the salad.

My mum ordered some sweet potato fries, and they brought them out to us to share.

My mother ordered a rhode-island lettuce salad as her entree, which to our surprise was basically a stack of rhode-island originated lettuce and some nuts, dried fruit, and cheese sprinkled all over it.
It was actually quite delicious, but a hassle to eat because the pieces were so horrifically large. I felt a bit like a cow trying to fit one leaf of lettuce into my mouth.
Although I believe your intended to cut it with a knife, it didm't seem plausible to me to have to cut a salad like a steak in order to eat it.

It was just us two, but we had a hell-of-alot of food.
Surprisingly, I managed to finish my bit, and my mum finished hers.
The only thing left were the sweet potato "fries", which my mum didn't enjoy too much. But we took them with us in a doggy-bag just in case we got nippy at the airport before our flight later that day.

Asked for a bit of ketchup for the fries, and our table was complete!

The restaurant's ambience was casual and comfy. I felt pretty happy just sitting there and taking in the fresh air and looking out at the harbor. The decor of the place was adorable yet simplistic.
Although the colors used were dark, the restaurant itself was bubbly and bright.
I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who's looking for a smaller meal, and wishes to take in the beautiful view right outside their door.

The only things I DIDN'T like were little things, such as the undercooked lamb chops, the inconvenient design of the salad, the long wait with no seating, and how close we were to the table behind us. (I had trouble getting out.)

But overall, I had a good time. It was nice to have conversation with my mom and just feel at peace next to the harbor. The boats never made any noise, and the smell barely even reached us even at how close we were. The waiters and waitresses were very polite, even giving me a little compliment on my outfit. I felt very comfortable, and that was important for me.
This was quite a while ago, but its taken a while to get around to blogging.
I'm sorry i've been so gone lately, its because schools been keeping me busy, and I have my priorities sorted out this year, so I don't put myself under too much pressure by procrastinating. I'm done making excuses.

I hope you guys will continue to support me.

Talk to you guys soon!

Appreciation.

Hellooo everybody! :)

So, i've been VERY busy. SO VERY busy.
I am so sorry T T
But I've decided to come back and make a little post about appreciation of feeling good.
Of feeling okay.

So heres the background story.
I have been struggling with constant nausea caused by anxiety for the past 3-4 months. I have always had very bad anxiety, and it affected me alot, but the nausea came as a terrible cherry on the top of the painful cake.
The nausea is mild-severe, depending, and comes at around the same time everyday and sometimes when I wake up in the morning.
I would describe it as a sick nasty feeling. As if you're about to be sick.
But for me, it is also topped off with my phobia of sick. (puking lol)
Just the thought of it or the mention of it makes me tremor and my heart races.
It really is a terrible thing to pair with anxiety-induced nausea, because the anxiety is ALWAYS there.
It is truly a crappy feeling.

Even right now, as I write this, I feel a little gross in my stomach area. Very scary.

But to get off the gross and depressing stuff, I wanted to share with you how I felt during the first (and worst) couple days of this nausea hitting me.

I was actually at my camp, and that was probably what made me want to go home so badly.
mixed with homesick, it drove me CRAZY.
I did everything I could to take care of myself, and I was thankful everyday for making it through the harder times.
I would sit at meals and hold my breath so the food smell wouldn't make it worse.
I constantly ate mints and drank water.
I ate nothing but banana for about 3 days.

It was a scary battle I was in.
But I remember distinctly how nice it felt to go to finally go to bed not nauseous.
It was more of a hungry feeling, but it was SO much better than the nausea.
I felt so good and happy and I could actually get to sleep. It felt so nice.
I remember the first night I slept well, I cried. I was so happy.
The constant feeling of nausea is crippling, and having a moment of peace was blissful and I was so appreciative of this break from my hell.
I lay there in the dark trying not to wake my roommate, as I cried myself to sleep listening to my home playlist. But even with my homesickness, the nausea faded when I went to bed. I appreciated every moment I had when I felt okay.
After a while, the nausea became less constant and I went a few days nausea-free!
But a few days after I returned from camp, I went to Hawaii on vacation with my family.
And the nausea came back.
This time it was full-force.
I would stay home from nice dinners and day activities because I was nauseous.
I would sleep from 4 pm to 9 pm.
I never wanted too be awake because the sick, dizzy feeling was so crippling.
I cried alot while I was there too because it really killed my vacation.
I wasn't able to go out to dinners with my family or enjoy the beautiful island. It lowered my quality of life. It was painful, physically AND emotionally.
I felt like a bag of crap and it was TERRIBLE.
After a few days, the same thing happened. The nausea began to SLOWLY take its leave. It never REALLY left, but it wasn't as constant. I was able to enjoy a few dinners and be happy with my family.
I had one panic attack at a fancy restaurant, but besides that I felt pretty happy.
Even with the nausea coming daily, I learned to try and ignore it.
I learned that the more distracted I was, the faster the feeling would fade.
And again, I became appreciative of the dinners I was able to eat.
I was so unbelievably happy when I had my first full dinner in Hawaii on the 3rd day.
It was a moment for me, like I had won a race or something.
My family was patient with me and I appreciated them as well.
For every moment I wasn't nauseous, I was happy and appreciative.

To get to my point, I feel like everyone should be appreciative every moment of their lives.
I learned this through the constant nausea and pain, and I learned to love the little things.
When you complain, think about how you could be spending that time being happy and appreciative, making your life its full 100% potential.
After getting home and re-adapting, the nausea is almost never.
It comes when I am high-anxiety and high-stress, so i spend my time STRIVING to NOT be stressed.
I have all the remedies for nausea and I use ALL of them in  desperate attempt to rid of it before it multiplies, and I do everything to keep it from coming back.
I mean there are days when I wake up with it, or get it after dinner.
Especially when i'm anxious or scared of something.
But with it being rarer now, I have more time where I just feel... okay. just normal.
And to me its BLISSFUL.
I feel such happiness when it passes and its just the hungry feeling. I LOVE that hungry feeling.

All of you should just take a second and appreciate the joy that is feeling okay and not being sick.
There are so many people out there who struggle with diseases and illnesses on a day-to-day basis, and just wish they were as healthy and mobile as most other people. I have learned to appreciate that I am not sick, and that I can do things. The nausea is bad, but not bad enough to lower my quality of life. If I get nauseous, I deal with it. Then I continue being happy and working to be a better person.
We sometimes forget that we are lucky to be the way we are. We forget that we are capable of so much, and that sadness is a pointless sometimes.
My life is picking up pace, and i am not going to slow down because of some stupid nausea.
and neither should you!
Take that achille's heel of your's and BEAT IT TO THE CURB.
APPRECIATE LIFE AND BEING OKAY AND BEING ABLE TO RUN AND JUMP AND BE FREE.
Appreciate the blue sky and green grass.
Love everyone, even if they don't love you.
Be the happiness and light you want to see.

I won't let this get me down.
I appreciate... life.

Goodnight, darlings. :)

Zilin: Old Town

Hey everyone! :D
So today, i've got a short post about a really underrated AND delicious restaurant in Old Town, Pasadena. (LA)
!: all the photos are actually taken on my phone because I didn't bring my camera to dinner. Sorry guys D:

Zilin is this small place in Old Town that is TOO underrated.
They serve asian-fusion style food, with american twists to traditional asian dishes.
I went with my friends, including blogger Bittersweet Present. Check out her blog too :)

We had starters family style, and then ordered our own entrées.

1.) Oxtail Chili Cheese Fries
Delicious twist between mexican and chinese flavors.
Gooey cheese melted all over, with spoonfuls of chili to top it off.
Tender pieces of oxtail are under the fries.
Delicious fresh cut potato fries.
I especially like how there isn't alot of oil, and it's nice and big to share.
Delicious starter; a favorite from all of us.
We finished this entire dish between the four of us, of course. :)
Rate: 9/10

2.) Ginger Noodles

What can I say?
Delicious noodles with ginger sauce drizzle, and soft slices of pork.
An egg cooked easy, placed ceremoniously on top. XD

Although I am no fan of ginger tastes myself, this dish was quite delicious.
The herbal taste wasn't too strong, and the sauces and meat really complimented the ginger.

Rate: 7/10

3.) Bulgogi Burger

So if you don't know what bulgogi is, its korean-spiced meat.
The burger was made up of the bulgogi patty, bulgogi sauce, some type of slaw, and bell peppers.
It came with a side of fries.
I personally think the burger was a bit much, but that is merely my opinion.
It taste quite good, and the fries were delicious, but the burger is quite large and it is difficult to bite into it, and if you cut it it falls apart. Also, I think the sauce and the bell peppers gave the burger a bit too much of a sweet taste. Although some may like this, I'm a fan of savory myself.
But I did enjoy it overall. I'm not too picky when it comes to my burgers.

Rate 7.5/10

So this is quite a quick post, so please bear with me D:
Started school and the homework load is pouring in~

More blog posts in the future, and i'll try to keep the iPhone camera use to a minimum ^^"
I'm headed to Santa Monica soon with The Bittersweet Present and her sister.
Maybe we'll both blog about it? :)

 ❤ I hope you all have a great day~

❤ HUGE Haul! ❤

Hey friends! ^^
So I am BACK, after a LONG hiatus.
During my leave, I managed to gather many adorable items that I now wish to share with you all! :)
Lots of the following items are from URBAN OUTFITTERS

Fair warning: The price range is a little out there, and I also do not have the prices for all the items purchased. They are not hard to find.

ITEM NUMBER ONE: Adorable Floral Dress from MINKPINK

[ purchased at Urban Outfitters ]

As you can see, there is a GORGEOUS lace bodice and beautiful floral patterns all around the dress.

The waist is form-fit, and really ISN'T stretchy, which is one thing I do not like about it. But besides that, it is very comfortable.

It reaches about mid-thigh, which is perfect for hot days and dinner dates. The solar of the dress is a classy ebony color, with bright and beautiful flower patterns all over the dress, providing a very beautiful contrast of colors and moods.

There is a zipper down one side and also the back. As I said, it is a form-fitting dress, so it is pretty tight around the waist and the chest. The zipper works very fluidly and I have no problems with it.

The front of the dress, (where the heart line is), is dressed in a gorgeous lace. The only problem I had with the lace was that I thought maybe it looked too much like a nightie to wear out, but once you put on the dress it isn't as noticeable and actually provides a pretty classy look.
The straps are quite thin, but surprisingly do not slip off the shoulder. (BIG PET PEEVE OF MINE.)
With a black or dark bra, it would be pretty much unnoticeable. :)

{ I LOVE PHOTOGRAPHING LACE. }

ITEM NUMBER TWO: Cute Summer Dress from KIMCHI BLUE
[ purchased at Urban Outfitters ]

First of all, look how ADORABLE the back of this dress is!
It's old-fashioned and beautiful - no zippers, just tie it into a lovely bow.
(It solves the problem of zippers being too tight after a big meal.)
The criss-cross pattern appeals to me a lot. You don't see that very often nowadays.

The bottom is light and ruffly~ very comfortable and there is no chance of overheating.
Great for summer parties, but with a cardigan and tights it could be worn in the winter months.

The straps are beautiful, and are made up of carefully sewn flower patterns.
Although flimsy looking, very secure. No problems with slipping off the shoulders.

The waist isn't tight, and is VERY comfortable.

The front of the dress is very ~ innocent. That is all I can describe it as. It doesn't dip low, and its round and cute. Like a children's dress, but a bit more mature. :)
The pattern is very adorable and cutesy, with little colorful flowers all over, and a cute dark navy color for the majority of it.

ITEM NUMBER THREE: Classy Tight Dress from TOPSHOP
[ purchased from TOPSHOP at The Americana ]

I LOVE this dress!
It is REALLY different from what I usually wear, but it is truly gorgeous!

The front and pattern are very simple, and its very beautifully collared.

The fabric is very comfortable, (and actually pretty warm), and I never have problems with itches.

It is VERY form fitting, with very stretchy material. It fits nicely around my body, and makes me look curvier than I usually look in dresses. I like it! It's a new change of fashion for me. It's very nice for a fancy dinner party, and with a nice blazer or cardigan I could change this whole look.

The pattern is very modern, and the material allows it to be okay for all the different types of weather! Seriously, GORGEOUS pattern, yet very simple.

ITEM NUMBER FOUR: Comfy Cardigan from KIMCHI BLUE
[ purchased at Urban Outfitters ]

THIS ONE IS MY FAVORITE OF EVERYTHING.
This adorable cardigan is literally all i look for in life.

GORGEOUS knitted pattern.
Warm, casual, and comfortable.

Beautiful grey color that could go with near EVERYTHING, and gives many outfits a casual and comfortable touch. Although it looks heavy, it is NOT.

Big old pockets on the side, and big adorable buttons to close it if theres a nip in the air.

LOOK HOW COMFORTABLE IT LOOKS. LOOK.
I wear this with nearly every outfit I have. It puts a cute casual twist on near anything, and it makes me so happy this exists. Very thick, and will SURELY work in the winter.

I love this cardigan so much. It means so much to me. I feel emotional.

EVERYONE SHOULD HAVE A CARDIGAN LIKE THIS.

ITEM NUMBER FIVE: Floral Summer Crop-Top from kucca couture

I LOVE this crop, but boy is it flimsy.
Surprisingly, the straps don't fall all over the place, but it sure is confusing getting all the straps into the right position when putting it on. *phew*

The front is very simple, and again, FLORAL. Very floral. I like floral.
The pattern is again, simple, and covers the entirety of the top, except for the lace straps.

The bottom is loose, and flows around my stomach. Crops are GREAT for the summer, paired with a pair of high-waisted shorts. California is the place to be for this.

The lace is gorgeous. Although it is quite see-through, it's still real pretty and I can learn to deal with the bad-coverage.
I usually wear a cardigan over it anyways. I'm not one to show too much skin in my back. ^^

As you can see...
$$$$$$$ mucho moneys.

look at all those straps... boy is it a trap.

ITEM NUMBER SIX: Black High-Waisted Shorts from BDG
[ purchased at Urban Outfitters ]

Not much to say about these pants. Black, high-waisted, comfortable, and go with ALOT of my clothes.

actual working pockets. wow.

ITEM NUMBER SEVEN: Striped T-shirt from MOUCHETTE
[ purchased at Urban Outfitters ]

This shirt is extremely comfortable. like, i would SLEEP in this.
The ONLY con I have is that the shirt is a little wide for me. the sleeves sometimes slip off my shoulders, but it doesn't bug me too much.

The fabric is extremely airy and comfortable, and lets me feel unconstricted during my large- *ahem*... meals.
Very high quality~

ON TO ACCESSORIES.

ITEM NUMBER EIGHT: Cute Beanie from ???
[ purchased from Urban Outfitters... don't know the brand. hm. ]

Not much to say about this either. It's just an adorable little beanie that I can wear anytime.
(especially during bad hair days.)

Comfortable and thick fabric, and the color matches a lot of other colors. Its a really nice cherry on top of a lovely outfit. Casual, warm, and comfortable.

Not TOO pricey, this one. thank bajeebas.

MAKEUP.

ITEM NUMBER NINE: Precious Minerals ANY CUSHION from ETUDE HOUSE
[ purchased on Yesstyle.com ]

Good buy. Can't say much about it now, but i'll be sure to write a review once i use it more.

Very adorable packaging. But what more do you expect from ETUDE HOUSE? :)
My favorite Korean Makeup brand is my favorite for a reason.

Comes with a cute little cushion of makeup, as well as a puff to apply it.
I got the darkest shade, HONEY BEIGE, because my skin tone is a bit darker after the summer.

I will be SURE to do a better review on this item in the future.
So far I like it! Not too much fragrance, and the color tint isn't heavy or overbearing. Application is pretty even, and it actually cools the skin.

ITEM NUMBER TEN: Beyonce CD from COMIC BOOK STORE in BOSTON

Honestly, all I can say is this: if you don't like Beyonce, don't talk to me.
SHE IS MY QUEEN ALWAYS.

[ WARNING: NERDY THINGS AHEAD ]
Here is where the nerdy items I bought come to light.
NEVER JUDGE, ONLY EMBRACE.

ITEM NUMBER ELEVEN: Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag EDWARD POP! figurine from COMICBSB

Okay honestly I already have Ezio and Connor so this isn't a surprise.
Assassin's Creed is my ALL-TIME favorite Video Game series :)

ITEM NUMBER TWELVE: Feeling posters from COMICBSB
Posters of my two favorite things.

If you didn't know, FRIENDS is my favorite TV show of all time.
I have the 10 SEASON DVD BOX SET for pete's sake.

And then the baes.
BVB is one of my favorite bands~ beautiful men T ^ T

ITEM NUMBER THIRTEEN:
F - R - I - E - N - D - S 10 SEASON DVD Box Set from Amazon

Point proven.

*DROOLS*

ITEM NUMBER FOURTEEN:
Roger Williams college gear from RWU Barns&Noble CAMPUS STORE

Went to the campus for camp. Decided to buy these as... useful memorabilia.
( college gear is $$$$ )

ITEM NUMBER FIFTEEN: SKIN food Aloe Pack from SKIN food STORE

My sister and my dad actually bought this as a welcome-back gift.
They don't know the first thing about Korean skin care, and that is why I was so tucked by the effort. This was the only SKIN food mask I didn't have! How great are they, huh? c:

Can't wait to try it out~
Aloe is very soothing for the skin, and my skin is not cooperating with me right now.
I'll do a full review on it soon, along with a few other products I recently purchased. :)

I need my skin to be soothed.

ITEM NUMBER SIXTEEN: Kpop socks from ... my cousin?

Cute socks of some baes. Not much to say. soft and awesome.
